img_4122Happy Wednesday Everyone!

I’m excited to finally share the highlights of Buffalo’s own Crown Runway Show during Queen City Fashion Week!

I had the pleasure of attending the main event last week as an influencer/blogger and I couldn’t be more proud of the talent in this city.  From the creators, to the business owners, to the models owning the runway… Buffalo, this was your night to shine.

The show was held at the beautiful Foundry Suites and if you’re ever in the Buffalo, NY area.. this is a must stay! The open ceiling with its industrial look and brick walls was the perfect setting for fall fashion.

I arrived early so I could take a few photos and find my seat.  I was honored to be front row and for a brief moment felt like my blog Taylor Reese had finally arrived.

A big thank you to Creative Director, Rachel Good for giving me an all access backstage pass.  This was my first fashion show and was great to see what really goes on behind the scenes.  You don’t know the extent of what goes into putting on one of these shows until you see it first hand.  It was nice to meet some of the local boutique owners while making my rounds, but with all the mayhem going on.. I could never remember all of their names.

I also had the pleasure of speaking with Founder, Rick Warne before everyone started to arrive.  Hearing his passion I know that Queen City Fashion Week is only going to grow and get better year after year.  The night had just begun and he was already looking forward to 2017.  You can catch more of Rick’s photography and blog HERE.

Two of my favorite boutiques making their debut on the runway were Blush and Village Designs Elmwood.  You can shop locally or shop online. You can also follow them on Instagram HERE and HERE!  All eyewear was courtesy of Visual Eyes.

There were several designer vendors there for everyone to shop before/after the show(s).  Stella & Dot was there and is a huge weakness for me.  I have some jewelry pieces from them and always get compliments on them.  You can check out the stacked rings I wear every day HERE.

I hope you get the chance to check out some of the boutique websites I’ve added to this post.  If you are local and were at the show, I would love to know what you thought about it.  If you are from out of town, does your city host similar shows? I would love to hear from you.

xoxo Chanda

P.S.  Here are a few videos of my favorite outfits from the night.

septembermusthaveHappy Monday!

I feel like it’s been forever since I posted… but life happens!  It’s October already, can you believe it?  Soon the holiday madness will be upon us, but for now I’ll enjoy my pumpkin spice lattes and 3-wick candles from Bath & Body Works.

Popsugar sent me this amazing Must Have box for September to try and I’m breaking down what’s inside!

Looking effortlessly chic in this black Jack & Lucy wide brim hat, you can pair it with your favorite Fall outfit.  A chunky sweater, distressed jeans, a pair of booties and you’re good to go.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been caught off guard with a cracked nail and don’t have a nail file with me.  With this cute little tool kit by NCLA, I can throw it in my handbag and never be caught off guard again.

Hands down… loving this full container of Briogeo deep conditioning mask for my hair.  I’m always looking for an extra boost with conditioning… and being blonde with fine hair, I can’t have anything that weighs it down.  It keeps your hair hydrated and you’ll love the scent too!

Hello heaven with this Flint lint roller.  So chic and conveniently sized for your purse.  It’s retractable and comes in super cute colors!

Looking for a bold red lip?  Lip perfection with Smith & Cult is paraben and gluten-free!

I also received a bag of dark chocolate coconut non-GMO, vegan, soy-free, dairy-free, gluten-free, high-protein snacks that didn’t make it into the photo because they were so good.. I ate them all as soon as I opened the bag.  You can still check them out here.  And take 25% off your first order!!

If you are just as excited about this must have box and need everything in it stat…. click here and use code SHOP5 to get $5 off your first box!

I hope you are enjoying your start to the Fall season.

Fall-FavoritesHappy Labor Day Everyone! I can’t believe it’s September already!

I’m starting to get the itch to wear some of my favorite Fall pieces that are currently in my closet… however it is still very warm here in the Northeast.  I should probably be careful what I wish for (and savor it a little longer) because I keep hearing we are in for a bad winter.  Luckily I splurged on this Burberry jacket and I can wear it well into the winter months.  It is one of my most favorite items and I can’t wait to wear it!

I’m in bootie overload… How cute are these from Kohl’s? I can actually wear these now and transition them into those cooler days.  This has to be one of my favorite times of the year because there are so many things you can wear to make the transition a little easier.

Are you ready for Fall?  What items are your favorites this time of year?
